BMW repair services prevent Engine Sludge Build Up

Engine Sludge Build Up

Oil and Filter Change
PMW recommends a more frequent maintenance schedule for oil and filter changes than the manufacturers recommended intervals. In a pristine laboratory environment, which lacks environmental contaminants, synthetic oil can remain viable for up to 15,000 miles. However, in the real world, there are many impurities and contaminants that can be introduced to your engine’s oil on a daily basis. These things can include, but are not limited to the dust and dirt in the air, pollution, and gasoline impurities. We recommend oil and filter changes every 5,000 miles to minimize sludge build up and any subsequent engine damage that may occur.

Buyers Check
A 56 point visual inspection of the vehicle, providing a comprehensive list of any issues or problems that may need to be addressed in the near and not so near future. This does not include any diagnostics of control modules.

Vehicle Check
Includes interrogation of fault code memory, which translates to reading any fault codes that may be the cause of the warning lights on the console of your vehicle. It also includes, inspection of chassis, brakes, belts, hoses, etc., replacement of air filter, topping off of all fluids, and the resetting of service lights.

Brake Flush
Consists of a thorough cleaning of the brake system by evacuating the existing fluid and flushing out all contaminants with fresh fluid.

4 Wheel Alignment
Includes the adjustment of the angles of each wheel to manufacturer’s specifications. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tire wear, to insure the longest possible use of the tires and to ensure that the vehicle travels straight, without any “pulling” to one side or the other.
