About Paul’s Motor Werks

Paul Cook, President and Owner, Master BMW Technician & Master ASE Technician

Paul Cook began building the foundation for his career in the automotive industry in 1979 at the age of 15. He worked many summer and after school jobs with various independent automotive repair facilities throughout Austin, gaining valuable automotive, management, and customer services skills.

Paul worked for the Austin Subaru dealership from 1983 to 1991 holding positions of shop foreman and lead technician. While at Subaru, he earned both ASE and Master ASE certification. In 1991 Paul transferred to John Roberts BMW in Austin, Texas and quickly became a BMW Master Technician. Paul continued to gain valuable skills and develop an expertise that enables him to diagnose and repair problems with precision and efficiency.

In October of 2000, Paul opened Paul’s Motor Werks on Wells Branch, then expanded to the current location in January 2003. Paul’s Motor Werks has become an established and highly trusted BMW repair facility.
